TWO MEN ARE CAUGHT IN THE CROSSFIRE. THE BIGGEST DANGER IS FALLING IN LOVE.
Shane is a man lost to depression and alcohol after the Giovanni family murdered his partner and lover, Thomas. Now, he finds that his career with the F.B.I. hangs in the balance as he is called upon to take a case that involves the same mafia family that stole everything he has cared for in his life.
Andrew is a Marine and witness to a gruesome shooting that has left him in the crosshairs of the crime family that Shane is trying to bring to justice. Placed in protective custody, he must depend on the broken, yet handsome man that the agency has charged with protecting him.
As Shane’s past and Andrew’s present collide, both men find that their lives aren’t the only things at stake. With hitmen, violence, and a mole in the agency, they will come to depend on each other and start to heal wounds, but risk falling in love, in hopes it’s not too late.
When I got to the bathroom window, the blinds were open, and I could see Andrew undressing. His back was to me, which made me glad and guilty at the same time. Even though I was trying to do my security checks, I played the part of voyeur. I stepped back a little from the light that came out of the window. Despite knowing I should walk away, I stared transfixed at his bare bottom.
I took in a deep breath at the sight and rushed away to finish my check. I needed to behave. Twenty minutes later, I wandered back into the house sweating like crazy while trying to towel myself off with my shirt. My skin glistened, and the hair on my chest and my navel were damp. I walked down the hall and ran into Andrew as he came out of the bathroom with just a towel around his waist.
He dropped the clothes he was carrying as we hit each other. He blushed as he looked me up and down, and I knelt to pick up his clothes, which made his blush even worse. Now I was almost on my knees in front of a muscular Marine wearing just a towel being held on by luck.
